I think you will also notice the primary is on the wrong side as well as the drive line. You can even see the push rod tubes on the wrong side.

where did they locate the oil sump?

that looks great, but the uly is too heavy for serious off-roading (IMHO)
swapping to a ski and track translates to either serious off raoding or too much dammned money

Should have 2 skis as no wheels=no gyro force, it would just fall over!

Nice 'chop!

Ronmold, there are loads of single-ski setups like this, they work fine 9including many motorcycle conversion about like the above, but usually installed on MX bikes. Gyro force isn't what holds you up even with wheels, its the ability to constantly make small corrects to keep the bike underneath you.

would the gryo forces of the motor spinning at 3k rpm have any effect?
or is the rotating mass of the motor comoponents too close to their rotational center to have any noticeable effect?

It's a common myth that gyroscopic effect is needed to stabilize a single track vehicle. It just isn't true. Steering does the job just fine. Example, there is no gyro effect to speak of at low speeds, yet we can easily ride around in first gear if we like, or on a bicycle at near crawling speeds. : )

Plus there is no gyro affect when a human rides a snow board.

the las time i tried to snowboard it resulted in gryoscopic forces from my body rotating, tumbling and cartwheeling down a slope.
but i'm pretty sure i was doing it wrong

The gyro effect of the motor is real and as a general matter degrades handling. This is why buells (with massive flywheel weight) ride "heavier" and steer slower than they should for their weight and geometry (fortunately the geometry is so extreme they still turn quite well).

Been there, done that, though not on one of these things. And it was a boulder, not a stump.
