Last year I replaced the stock bars on my 08XT with the bars shown in the picture. The clutch, throttle and brake lines are longer that I would like. What bike model should I use to order shorter cable lengths?

Thanks for the help.

Determine the length you want and have the good folks at "Motion-Pro" build you a set.

Looks like a Lightning handle bar, so the Lightning cables may be your best bet.

Thanks Froggy.

Since the Buell site is down, I could not do a comparison.

Do you have your old stock bars that you might want to sell?

On my Uly I kept the stock lines but if you can get an estimated length I've got brake lines from my '06 Ss and a Stt. Be sure to get the front wheel off the ground when you measure so the fork is fully extended.

Dbolemiss - I do have the stock bars but prefer to keep them just in case.

Johnboy777 - They are the Protaper school boys. I did not like the upright ride of the stockers. To me, they make the bike feel more like a sport touring bike. Similar to my old BMW. They are very comfortable to me.
