I will be servicing my XT in the next few days. This includes adjusting the steering head bearings. I will have the bike up on a set of Pit Bull front & rear stands to get the forks off for the oil change. Can I do the adjustment with the front end on the Pit Bull front stand (It uses a pin that slides into the steering stem), or should I lower the bike & re-raise if with a scissors jack?

Scissor jack, you can't do anything to the trees when the Pit-bull stand is in them.
