I've just dropped the fork to inspect the steering tube bearings. The bearings are bad and need to be replaced. I'd like to ride this weekend, so if anyone has any... let me know.

I'd like to just change the fluid in the fork. Does anyone know how I'd go about doing that?

Please and Thanks!!!

Many of us have done the fork oil change. There are well-documented explanations of how it's done, but I don't have them bookmarked.

It's not terribly hard, but some "special tools" are necessary (I made mine myself). If you're replacing the steering tube bearings, then clearly you have the mechanical background to change the fork oil.

Hopefully someone else here can post a link.

Check this recent thread, it has several links to fork related threads
