Any one put risers on an Ulysses? http://www.adventuremotorcycleparts.com/merchant2/ merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=amp&Product_Co de=TTLROX-3R-P2SSM&Category_Code= these are the ones that I got, but it seems impossible to be able to get to the bolts to tighten them down. anyone else have this? If so How did you get them on? |

I have those, they work great for me. Pre-tighten the bolts under the bars/risers then move them into place and torque down the ones you can get at. The other ones will then be tight.

well got them on!!! Thanks for the help. I also put a taller windshield on there and new footpegs. Like I said, I am going on a trip this week. Hope to do a few thousand miles on this ride. Never had the Buell out on a long ride yet. I always take the Ultra, but this week she is going to stay home. Damn Hope she don't get mad.... |

Has anyone had issues with clutch and throttle cable length? Have thought of risers but don't want to deal with getting new cables. |

I think you can buy the same one from Rox that have been updated to fit the Buell for less at http://www.roxspeedfx.com/cgi-bin/cart/showitems.c gi?subcat_id=268 they list them for $98.00 |

Throttle cables are right at their limit on mine (see picture). The rise doesn't seem to bother them but a lot of pull-back will bind the cables. Clutch seems to have lots of length. The brake line banjo bolt needs to be loosened and the line re-positioned. It helps to have someone lightly squeeze the brake to keep air out of the line while doing it. DAMHIK. |

I had no trouble with cables on mine, but a friend did have to reroute the throttle cable, he was using more pull back than I was. |

I've got mine pretty far back and all the way up and when I turn the bars fully right the throttle tube turns... I am goingto reposition the risers to see if I can get some play if not I'll reposition the cables. |
