Thanks for all those that have helped with the questions I put on the forum. Going to pick it up next week it has very little done to it so I am sure I will be adding stuff right away. 6k miles and Orange so if anyone would want to trade plastic for black let me know. Also what are some (must do-or things to make it perform it's best without problems down the road) I have to Stugis as well. I have a bit of time and a nice place to work on it so that will help. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142838/442053.html?1238017122 It's the new Uly owners section, the link is also at the top of the BB&D section. Should cover all you need to know. Personally...I'd stick with the orange, but I'm biased

Which is why they never bothered making orange 1125R's 1125R's were made for racing and I don't think making them the color of a highway road grader would be a very good selling point! |

Uly's do look best in black don't they Snow_jw. The complimentary aesthetics it invokes being side by side with the dark mechanical beauty of the Uly can't be beat by any other color. |

Turn them upside down & they all look alike.
p.s.: stove polish covers up the rust on the muffler nicely (Message edited by 99Savage on July 28, 2010) |

The Orange is starting to grow on me. Any threads with a bunch of Orange bikes to take a peek at?? Do they make a orange Ceramic coating for the pipes?? Wonder how that would look I have done black and silver and it always looked great. |

Etennuly or Ratbuell, is the orange paint you used a Ford color or a custom match? Etennuly, are the wheels powder coated or painted? I really want to add more orange to the Uly to make sure the cagers know I exist, especially when off-roading and in the trees! Kinda like hunting in Wis. with all the 600,000 other lead slingers!} |
