Anyone maxed out their Uly? I rode up in the high country today and was on one of those roads that is dead straight, stretches for miles, plenty of visibility and no cars. I've got a gps and couldn't get my '06 xb12x faster than 106mph. I believe it was around 5400 rpm. This was done at around 8,600 ft elevation. |

I have been a GPS'd 132 on mine with no bags and laid out with no winscreen. that was at about 225 ft asl, about 65 deg. Bruce |

With the Ulysses, 130 mph. It started to be a little too scary for my liking, compared to my (previous) ZX7. |

Went on a long trip over Memorial Day with side cases and a big duffle. The most I could get out of it in the Owen's Valley, CA (4K feet MSL) was about 115 mph. My Lightning will easily do 130. I think the delta was about half wind drag and half altitude. |

I Got 123ish with bags and duffle on my XT. Temp around 70 or so, flying over a bridge over a lake maybe 1000ft. elev. And 130 with no bags, about same temp, elev. I weight 230 + gear I think the bike will do better now, it gets stronger as I put more miles on it. |

I got my '09 xt up to 125 according to the gps. Full bags and camping gear on a flat straight stretch in Wyoming. |

I haven't turned on the GPS during a speed run yet. I've bumped the rev limiter in 4th with the sides and top case on. 08TX slight uphill grade. |

One thing I noticed between my '06 and '10-with the '06 I could just hammer on it and get up to speed in 5th gear. With my 2010, I have to hold out 4th to the limiter and then shift into 5th to get to the same place on the speedometer. My '06 had the race ecm, k&n and Drummer SS and I got to 140 on the speedometer, which I'm sure is off some. |

About 135 was the best I could do at the track day. |

142 according to the GPS, 150 indicated. 6th gear, going UP a hill, ran out of room before redline which was quickly coming! |

126 on the GPS, loaded side and top hard bags with Buell bag on triple tail. Might have been able to wring out another 2-3 mph, but fast enough for me, |
