I have been doing a lot of reading over the great info on the different brand foot pegs out there on here. I just have a question as I am looking to order some to replace the stock small slick ones on my 06 XB12X. Do the pegs that drop lower then stock cause much contact with the road when cornering. Im 6' 200lbs and am thinking of getting the PE 2" drop pegs but just dont want to worry about tearing them up and washing the bike out if I really get into a corner. Thanks! Anyone out there going to the Hells Canyon Rally in Baker City, Oregon in June?

Well...how close do you get the stock pegs to the ground when you're cornering? If you're aggressive...you'll probably get closer with 2" drop pegs.

Are you looking for a drop? Or just more foot-grip? If it's just grip, look at the stock black Uly pegs. I have them on my CR, and they are WAAAAY more sticky than the stock silver pegs on my '06 Uly. Same shape...different cleats.

ANY drop is going to put your feet closer to the ground, though, and reduce cornering clearance.
