First, has anyone else had a hard time getting the original torx bolts out of the bike when trying to install the side and top case brackets. I don't know what kind of over industrial strength loctite they used, but I went through 3 torx bits... THese things were in there tough!

Anyway, if anyone has some close up pictures of the turn signal relocation I would much appreciate it, the instructions are kind of vague. I'm trying to find our exactly how the relocation bracket mounts.

Thanks for the help.

Take the license plate off the bike. Put the new bracket on the plate holder with the 2 screws (like it was a license plate; it just lays on there and gets screwed on), with the tabs for the signals pointed forward (and the signal mounts oriented towards the bottom). Reattach license plate. Install new turn signals on the bracket and route wiring : )

Thanks guys, that is what I thought. I was just having a hard time believing that the license plate holds on the turn signals... The picture and description left a little to be desired. I was trying to figure a way that there was some other bolts holding it on.

Thanks for the help. Now if I can just get these last two gorilla loctited bolts out without having to go warrant the last of the torx bits.

There are 2 bolts//washers/nuts that hold the adaptor plate to the tail section, THEN the plate goes on.

Hey Court,
Thanks for the pictures, the last two are exactly what I needed. I wasn't exactly sure how the bracket mounted to the rear fender/ tag bracket section.

My Uly is a 2010 and has the pointed clear turn signals, the wires look to be the same length as the ones that come with the kit. I am going to try to put the 2010 blinkers back on. How close do the blinkers come to the bags? The 2010 blinkers are a bit bigger then the older oval shaped ones.

It also figures, I have a set of Buell license plate bolts, they are not long enough to make it through the bracket...

OK, I give. How do you post .pdf's? I tried to post the instructions and couldn't get 'em to go on...do you have to do them one page at a time and downsize them like a photo?

Grrrr.... : )

If the PDF is under 103kb you and upload it using the uploader below, or if its above it, you will need 3rd party hosting. I usually throw them on my web site and link them here. I got a handful of files people have sent to me that I host for here.

Just for the info, the 2010 stock rear blinkers do fit. The kit for the cases comes with the older style tinted blinkers. The stock clear pointed blinkers do fit.

With all of the innovative designs that Buell has couldn't they come up with a better way to mount the blinker relocation bracket?
