So I designed up a Ulysses-specific tailbag that uses the triple-tail paddle to keep it on the bike (there's a 'pocket' on the bottom of the bag that slides over it). Full description here:

That's interesting. I like it. Should get that guy to work up a tail pad since you won't be able to get one from Buell anymore.
