I have a CR but the ULys always appealed to me. Dealer is quoting me 10,800 OTD. After paying $5500 OTD for my 09 CR that doesn't seem like a greta deal. Thoughts and opinions? |

That's really close to what I paid for my XP. I've yet to see the smoking deals for Uly's that the rest of the lineup are receiving. |

The factory incentive is lower on the XB's, and the XT is a $13k motorcycle new. You might be able to wiggle a little more out of them, or shop around. Give Ft_bstrd a call, he might have some left. |

2010 XB12X $8080 out the door plus tax and tags. I MADE ROOM TOO. Now the Lightning and the Harley have a little more company! I also have a harder decision on what to go ride too... decisions, decisions! |

My 09 XT was 8,000 plus transport fee, tax, and title. Figures up to something like 9500 OTD. Problem is they're getting harder to find, so the prices may not be as great. Did you check out the fly-n-ride offer? |

Dealer is quoting me 10,800 OTD. I have not had a Uly or Uly XT to sell in three weeks. I have a truck with our race trailer two states, 700 miles away, picking up 6 Loki (1125 platform) four of which are pre-sold and coul dnot find either Uly so I had to refund two customers money. If I were that dealer I would give you a day to commit or I would call the next guy on the waiting list. |

I have an 09X with 1K miles and sure I could sell it reasonably...but it is such a testament to the Uly that no one will sell them...even in the face of factory closing and needing to wrench em ourselves...scrounging parts possibly. Amazing really. We just love that bike. |

Yup, For the most part I was pretty pleased with the deal. I drove 4 hours and had to air up the tires but it was worth it. |

I guess so! I paid $8080, OTD for a 2010X without bags. I was looking at a 2009 XP that was $8995.00 I figured I could ad the bags and still be at the same price give or take and still be a year newer. But $6400, I would have drove the 4 hours too. I did see a 2009 X for $5995, that was by far the best I had heard of till now. |

I did have to pay my taxes when I got back to Florida, so add about 500.00 to that 6200.00 which came to about 6700.00. I had to buy handguards-28.00 and a right side scoop-45.00 so I've got about 6800.00 in it right now. I'm happy!!!!! My 4th Buell. PS, anyone close to North Florida want to do some riding just let me know! Ken |

2010 XB12X $8080 out the door plus tax and tags. So this isn't out the door... OTD pricing is: bike + shipping + setup + tax + tags .... Anything less is well, something other than OTD. Yet I've seen a lot of people quote OTD prices and couldn't believe them. Now I'm beginning to wonder if the OTD price was truly out the door.... Wayne |

In fact, if OTD pricing includes tax and tags, then that isn't a good comparison either. If each state/city may have different tax rates and also licensing fees how can you compare... just wouldn't work. |

Hotdog... I hear ya, I'm just saying that I've always heard and considered OTD, the final number on the dotted line. Now, sometimes it's not that easy since many times people are buying across state lines, so tax is added in later. Ultimately it doesn't matter as long as everybody in the deal was happy. And I didn't mean to single anybody out, but it makes it tough for people asking about a price to do any real comparisons when somebody says "I paid 8,000 OTD for mine." Then you find out that the OTD price you're looking at includes taxes and tags and the OTD price somebody else quotes doesn't have any of that included. 'tis all I'm getting at... Wayne |

Wayne, I get it. I guess it is the Interpretation that is the tough thing. To make comparisons fair and equal it should be the price of the bike, plus any dealers fees, less tax and tags that is compared. This is the only number in different states that will be equal. I have never... never paid any dealer fees on a bike until this one. This is the 6th new bike I have purchased and have always been able to negotiate off the freight, set up, and whatever other BS fee the dealers add. This bike, with them taking $4100.00 off of the sticker price ($3000 factory money) they were not going any further. and like Jammin and Ratbuell said... if you want it, now is the time to get it... there won't be any more soon. We are already starting to see the dealers fire sale the clothing, accessories will be next. If they are not already discontinued. A few members have already mentioned not being able to get seats because they already discontinued them. |
