RWC, I second the pissing match comment... but couldn't resist to put in my 2 cents.

I get more respect on my buell when around people riding Ducati's, BMW's MVAgusta's Apprilla's, Kawasaki's, Suzuki's Honda's and Yamahas then I do from people riding Harley's. And I ride a harley too. My harley friends all ask... "Why do you ride that thing?" It is frustrating. The funny thing is, most harley riders don't even realize that My Buell technically is a HD, or at least a HD product. it is sad. And WTF if you can't get parts... that will suck since I own two Buells, one a 2010 I pick up tomorrow!

Hooper, I only meant that last year there was a huge run on ammo-almost impossible to find anything, even Cabelas shelves were empty. Then, when people finally calmed down the manufacturers caught up and supply came back to the market. Buell parts may be the same-once we settle back down the market may replenish itself.

I agree with RWC as well, Hotdog, but I want to respond to your post. I'm so new to the Buell world that I haven't noticed that, though I certainly might. If so that's a shame, but not my problem. I rode an Electra Glide for years, even up to your area a couple of times on trips to Laconia and Americade, but in the last few years I've been touring on my Sportster more and I have noticed some who look down on Sportsters. Very weird to my way of thinking. Again, not my problem but kinda sad. The Sportster is a great bike, in my mind. Hey, I'm really enjoying my Ulysses. What a cool bike!

I'm new to Buell too, still own a Harley and intend to enjoy both. I've been a HOG chapter officer, can't say I've ever noticed anyone looking down on a Sportster or Buells. To be honest I don't give a rats azz what you ride as long as you enjoy it. Well except GayRods

88b, Here the HOG chapter I belong to, (I'm not renewing my local membership just national) the last meeting I went to, the board was having a bitch fest and basically lumping anyone that rides a sport bike into the "unsafe rider" category. I talked to the President and he side stepped the issue and even when I said I had completely more of the MSF safety classes than most of the rest of the chapter and that I rode a Buell he really did nothing to retract the statement. It's frustrating. I miss BRAG!!! Maybe we should start our own up!

Just want to report, that I was able to order just the inner shroud of the Rider Comfort Kit. I ordered it from Liberty HD Buell in NJ. Great service from Chris

Mideon I know HOG in America is different to the UK, here most of us look on it as being a club for like minded people who want to enjoy our bikes and ride. I know a lot of my American friends want nothing to do with local chapters, if your chapter is like that I'd feel the same way as you.
