Yup, I'm jealous too. Any trouble with the rear brake going soft? |

"Any trouble with the rear brake going soft?" nope. I pretty much won't touch the rear brake on the track... too much of a chance of things going wrong. (this coming from the guy who totaled his bike!) |

Hangontight, I'm right behind you in the second to last one,(34). You sure were making it look easy out there on the Uly. Sorry to hear about the crash. |

Chest down closer to the bike, out side arm relax it. Once your upper body is closer to the bike shift body to the inside of the turn, lower body come out now knee out to touch. When I was coached by Tracy Martin for the first time he told me "knee to elbow" on the inside turn. And act like you're going to eat the mirror. Kevin Schwantz coached me to center my chest on the side of the inside turn with the bikes fork closest to the inside of the turn. The more your body comes out to the inside of the turn the more ground clearance you have. From a newbie total Control instructor |

thanks for the tips! The first time I was out at the track I was scraping my pegs in almost every turn. After I had a CR follow me around, he told me to get my butt off the seat and hang off more, that way I could put the bike more upright in the turns and carry more speed. It made a big difference. It also gave my legs a great workout! |

i have an 06 uly [#99] and have run several track days with it. i even leave the bag racks on and have ground the peg feelers down to nothing. works great. also use it for touring, grocery shopping, and everything in between. most "useful" bike i have ever owned, not to mention fun. would like to have an 1125 uly tho. |

could put the bike more upright in the turns and carry more speed. Yes that's the ticket! K |
