Late as always! I rode up I77 at 85 to 105 and it was a hot day. My new comfort kit and download got a real tryout. I am pleased with the results. Nothing's perfect but she is a lot happier bike. I made it to Northbend State Park and then finally found the campground. Jo Ann, the park ranger, was helpful and very friendly. If it wasn't 93 degrees and 200% humidity, it wasn't 10. She gave me a map of Marks loop and the chase was on. I never did catch up but I can tell you Rt.16 was one of the best Buell runs there is. One curve after the next. Zero chicken strips on the tire. I'm going back. Unfortunately I didn't catch the crew and her royal highness [ my daughter ] was getting ready to be hauled back to college and I had to help. Therefore I couldn't go back for party time. Now that I know what this gig is, I hope to make it on time next year. Sorry I missed you guys. PS - the fan runs a lot at speed and the seat, while hot, was a lot better than it ever has been. Very hot day - very high speed. The C-kit is the best money I've spent. |

We had a great time, too bad you missed, but you got to see the ride route. There were about thirty of us on the Saturday group ride. If you were starting behind us, you would have to really smoke it to have caught up. Over thirty bikes with no chicken strips! I am ordering that comfort kit asap. |

The ride was only half the fun too! You've gotta make it next year! |
