I had to replace one of the headlight lamps and when I pulled the headlight assembly out I noticed a grey rubber boot with a empty plug in it. The plug is located between the headlights on the back of the assembly. What is this plug for? |

Its for a small 194 type bulb, used as a city lamp in Europe and other parts of the world. Their equivalent to our lights-on-all-the- time laws. |

If you feel up to it, put one in. It works. Lights up your high beam reflector dimly, but it looks like it is on at dusk. |

Or go down to the local auto parts store and buy a 7 color rotating l.e.d. 194 and stick in it. Kinda cool at night around the campfire. I call it "mood lighting". Between that, the retractable trouble light installed under the seat (courtesy of an old chevy pickup), the 3 mode self-contained emergency flasher in the top box reflector and a pair of lights up front off a Cessna, I got folks just shakin their heads around here. |

I keep checking the local parts stores for a green LED 194 bulb, but I've only seen yellow, red, or blue. I don't need it bad enough to order an item that small of the net. |

Thanks, I thought it was for some type of parking light. I like the mood lighting option. The only problem is if I go out to watch one of the local bands we like all the stoner guys we know will all be sitting around the front of my ULY passing the blunt around mesmerized by the light. Does anyone know where too get LED turn signal lights for the Buell. I haven't looked yet just thought I would ask first. |

FL, use a clear one, dip it in any color paint you like! Dark/strong colors work best. |
