Anyone using the Cruiser-Peg Kit, and what do you think? I'm looking for something to help with LD rides. |

I have a 29 inch inseam. I have just installed the Palmer Cruiser-Pegs and they may be just a tad long, but not bad at all. I'll have my first long ride with them on Saturday. From what I have experienced locally they are a nice addition to making the Uly a long distance machine. |

Seems like the kit may interfere with the suspension. Any thoughts? |

Interference with the suspension? you mean like the front tire hitting it? If the tire hit it, the tire would be going through your engine and you would have bigger issues to worry about. |

Hope it's OK if I chime in chaps............. I've sold a few kits to guys with RSS - it needs a hole drilled in it though to route the vertical support bar. Hope someone will post a picture or two, please. The frame doesn't interfere with any parts or tyre/fender. Cheers |

I am on vacation (a see Colorado trip)... thus far 1,500 miles in the past 5 days on the Uly riding two up. I really like the addition of the Cruiser-Pegs. They enable me to make a nice change in leg position to give the ole knees some relief. In hot weather it also helps with air flow. I am very pleased... |

Perhaps I should invest in a set so I don't look so awkward with my legs over the frame pucks. |

I experience one word of caution during this 1,800 mile trip with the cruiser pegs. You need to make sure that you keep your right foot on the outside of the right peg. I evidently held my leg too close to the header pipe and burnt a hole in the leg of my riding pants. |

Mine did.... the foot peg just folded. With bags on my kick stand broke and the pegs survived. Not a problem. |

Got my right side scoop on yesterday. How do I post a pic of same? Also as was stated by Iain, all that is needed is a hole drilled to allow the upright frame to go up and also I found drilling a little hole in the side of the RSS allows for a long t-handle t-27 to put the mounting in. I found the upright bar for the pegs interfered with "my" ability to get the bolt back in. I then put a black rubber plug in the hole. If you want I will attempt to measure where the hole needs to be placed in the bottom of the RSS. I had buggered mine up by not having the hole in the right place at first so I just used a dremmel and cut a grove on the inside of the RSS which would not be my preferance if doing again. Perhaps I will also email a pic to Paler Products to use if they would like. |
