So when its cold and you cycle key and flip switch and the pump starts up, mine has been just humming along instead of stopping. I know I need to pull it and check for wires since the low fuel light randomly comes on with a full tank. Suggestions???

Yes yours needs to be checked. Mine started doing it intermittently a month ago, so I had my dealer take care of it just before the warranty expired. The new pump is so quiet that I hear my headlights over it : )

I think you are having the wire rub issue, its possible you fix that and your issue will go away. I got a new fuel pump out of the deal, so if your bike is under warranty, get it done.

I have an extended warranty. Not sure if its covered but like I can prove it. Its intermittent and likely not covered till it strands me on the side of the road somewhere.
Thanks froggy for the advice!
