Been doing a lot of stuff as of late to the Uly, and it is almost done! More pics to follow!

That pixelized camo paint job is cool. Are you goin' to paint the whole bike like that? |

If it's blue, it's Froggy! Seriously, there aren't a ton of aftermarket products or mods for Buells, so we kind of have to do them for ourselves. I LOVE to see this kind of stuff. It's what makes Buellers Buellers. It's why this site is the best example of an enthusiast site. It's all about the product. |

Do the "translucent" airbox covers fit the Uly? |

That's doable in paint. I haven't been on firearm sites for a couple years now but there was a company that had digital stencils for painting if memory serves. A How-to-Paint Digital Link And a Google search link for digital stencils (Message edited by oddball on March 25, 2009) |

Your wheels and flyscreen are black, so you got a multi-racial Uly. |

That blue is pesky, too me a full 3 months to get every bit of it off of my CityX Gonna go out on a limb and say I have the only CityX with carribou bags that wants to be a uly, dressed in Valencia orange... I might be wrong though. |

I'll get more pics up eventually. Got it mostly done now. Went out on a long ride Saturday, rode out to some parks on the Jersey side of the George Washington Bridge. I took my camera out and there was a black oily sludge on my lens, and the bathrooms were locked so I couldn't wash it off. I thought about washing it in the Hudson, but I didn't want to risk getting my camera eaten by a 8 eyed fish. On the way back, I hit up some twisties, and found out the hard way that my brake line was installed wrong. Under hard braking, the dive would rub the tire against the line and cut a hole in it. Shes grounded for now. Also, my chin fairing fell off again, I just had it wrapped too. I have no clue why it keeps doing that, its the 3rd time now. |
