I ordered one of these from Twistedthrottle.com to see if it would work with my Caribou set-up. Well, it doesn't and Twistedthrottle has a 15% restocking fee, so I thought I'd offer it up to ya'll before sending it back to them and loose $65 on this experiment.
I never even took it out of the bubble wrap, so it is in complete mint condition, with all hardware included. Bought it for $160 plus $19 shipping. Sell for $160 shipped to you. If I don;t get any takers by Saturday it will be shipped off to return-land. Follow this link to see what it is:

What were the issues with the Fehling Rack and Caribous? I have just bought a Fehling Rack and I was going to buy a set of Caribous too.

restocking fees are just a way to say to the customer, "it's yours now sucker and even if you send it back we'll still stick it to you and twist". That's the twisted part of the company's name. Looks like twistedthrottle just turned off a whole lot of potential customers.

"...cannot be used in conjunction with the Buell OEM sidecarriers for Hepco-Becker sidecases"

crap. Otherwise I would be interested. Good luck.

But can the Hepco-Becker (aluminum) bags be mounted on the Fehling side racks?

Longdog... The issue with the Fehling rack and the caribous is the shared attachment points and the "tubes" want to fill the same path as one another. Disappointing, but I tink I will have a local shop make up something that attaches onto me caribou rack.
Tipsy... No idea if the HB Aluminum bags can be used with the Fehlings. That sounds like an even more expensive experiment.
No bites on this yet.... Anyone want to save $20 from buying it from twisted throttle?

Tipsymcstagger Fehling rack supports Givi cases, and I was told that a some of the top case will need some kind of mounting kit.

I have no idea if this would work to adapt the Hepco aluminum cases to the Fehling side racks, but Happy Trail has a pannier mount kit kit for 3/4" and 5/8" tube racks.

Also, the Happy Trail SU Side Racks (according to the HT description) will accommodate Pelican cases.

For those who are wanting a top case with the Pelican cases, seemingly you can use the Happy Trail SU Racks with Pelican cases and a Fehling top rack with a Givi case.

If I can determine whether the HB aluminum cases will mount to the HT SU racks, I'll likely use the HT SU side racks,HB aluminum cases and a Fehling top rack with a Givi top case.
