I have never done anything special to equipment to winterize it. I just let it sit. I ned to make sure of what to do for the Uly. I have it on a tender and that is it. I haven't started it since it has gone below 30˚F. Suggestions?

Yeah, continue your course. Do not start it until you are going to ride it. Short start warm ups will draw in more moisture. If you feel the need to spin it over to prevent the rings from sticking or cylinders from rusting I would recommend pulling the plugs, squirt in a little of your favorite oil, unplug the coil and turn it over a few laps. (I would only do this in a damp unheated space).

I like to fill the tank full of brand name premium gas(it will have additives that will keep it fresh). If it will only be down for a few more months it should be good.

If it isn't jacked up, moving it once in a while is good to prevent flat spots on the tires too.

In the spring I would fire it up, check all of your pre-ride stuff, and go for a short ride and change the oil and primary as soon as I got back. That will carry out accumulated moisture and get you clean slippery stuff.

All I did was connect the battery tender, add Sta-Bil to the 93 octane fuel I filled up w/ and i ride it every 30 days for 10 miles or so (about 20 min.) after a 10min. warm-up at idle.

This is the proper way to winterize a Uly:
