I sure hope I had a partial fill up I forgot about because I just filled up a little over 4 gallons at 112 miles. I reset and will be watching this tank real close.

Hot fuel can do that to you. When I first got the Uly last year I took a trip to Idaho to meet with my brother from WA.

Gassed up in the CA desert first morning. The previous tank netted me about 50 mpg @ about 75 mph cruise so I wicked it up a bit and figured I could bypass Vegas and make it to St. George UT no problem.

Imagine my surprise when the idiot light came on well before it should have in the middle of nowhere! Quick calculations and I guessed I was getting low-20's! I dropped to about 45 mph (getting passed and honked at by cars pulling trailers...) and lay low behind the shield, made it to Mesquite NV with less than a pint left of gas.

Watched my maps more closely for the rest of the trip and since. Returned to my previous practice on my Beemer of gassing up about every 100 miles, even though it has a 6 gal tank the mpg runs about 38-40 no better.

On that same ID trip another leisurely awesome scattered-thunderstorm run with my brother through the Targhee Natl Forest netted me 58 mpg, my highest ever.

I've found that on the highway the Uly sips the fuel up to about 75 mph, above 80 the mpg's drop considerably.

Last tank lasted 162 miles when the light came on. It took 3.1 gallons to fill up to the first ring. My mileage is actually getting better as the new motor breaks in.
52 mpg the way I drive is remarkable.

Same here ...I get between 50 to 56mpg on two lane roads riding very sporty....on the Interstate at 75-85 it will drop to about 47mpg... with an 06 ULY with 07 airbox. "And Thats The Truth"

This was all city riding and the temps have been from 30 to 50 degrees F and it was about 35 when I filled it up that time.
