Has anyone got a part number for the '07 fork springs handy?

I want to make sure the parts counter didn't do me a "favor" and order me a set of '06 springs.

I have a new set on my workbench, haven't gotten them in yet. The part number on the package is:

J0113.2AK (supposed to be the 07 springs)

Hope this helps.

I ordered mine in Mid June, and still no joy.

I ordered mine a week ago and they arrived in about 4 days.

Bearly, I would order from a different dealer.

Bearly,
+1 on using a different dealer.
I called my order in to my dealer while I was at Homecoming and the parts have been in for a while - I just haven't been down there to pick them up. I'm sure they had to order them from Buell, they don't keep much of anything in stock.

I figure I'll take my bike in for the 10k service today and ask them to just put in the new springs and fill to the '07 oil level instead of reinstalling the old springs for the fork service (the service manual *does* say to remove the springs, right??).

FT_bstrd; Aye, you might be on to sometin der matey: I just ordered $2784.00 worth of parts from them for the Wife's crashed L/Long SS. (see: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/681 7/289035.html?1184549317 ) I'll bet I'll be still putting parts on this winter.

Dgunther: I'm doing my own 10k service. Since I'm putting new springs I'm going to change all the seals and bushings while I'm in there. I ordered the 43mm Seal press from the my Dealer as well about a month ago. I don't have that yet. By contrast, I got all the seals, bushings, and the Race Tech Fork spring compressor from American Sport bike and had them all in a few days. I ordered the wheel bearing tools from Jim's (Harley's were $1000.000) and had them in my grubby little hands in a few days. Strangely enough, I ordered a Fuel pump puller from the Dealer and had it in two weeks but the pants for my Buell Riding Suite took two months.

Sorry to circumvent your original subject: (bad habit) but to get back to it...
I'll let you know if I get the incorrect springs.
Does anyone know what the new fork oil level is for the new springs on the 06/07 43mm forks?

Dgunther, yes, steps taken in order, the Manual does say to remove the fork springs.

The correct oil level for the 07 is 172 mm from top with forks fully compressed.

Source: Anonymous post on Bad Web, Sept 15, 2006.

Triple rate fork spring 39 lbs/in up to 3 inches of travel
59 lbs/in from 3 inches to 5.4 inches of travel
and 84 lbs/in from 5.4 inches of travel to 6.5 (bottomed)
