Dana, I realized Ebear never answered you directly - do you have a picture in your mind's eye where the Love Shack is on Corkscrew View? Bunch of folks running in and out of there all weekend. By Sunday PM, you'll be sorry you every asked to meet everybody! |

Dana, The map that Ebear posted above actually shows the location of "Corkscrew View" campground. The Love Shack is one level down from the very top. Can't miss the mob. |

Naughtynurse and I are here in Monterey and have been since the AM. Checked out Fishermans Warf and had lunch. Then we took a drive out to the Speedway. After that we did the 17 mile Drive..... most beautiful scenery the wife and I had ever seen. After that we went down to The Cannery Row... lots of people and bikes everywhere. We had dinner and now back in our room. Monterey is really something to take in I'll tell ya.......Wow!!!! |

Initial reports are coming in . . . . I do not believe the good folks at Buell have a clue as to the magnitude of what they've brought to the market. I'm getting reports from the Buell tent, an owner and two Buell folks. I can't wait to hear more. Court |

Back from Laguna Seca. Crowd was unbelievably polite and fun. 1125R is much more sleek than the pictures indicate. Weather was perfect. Company outstanding. Thanks to the following. Al Lighton of American Sport Bike-Every issue and deferred maintenance item on my M2 solved thanks to your expertise, guidance, counsel and perseverance. I guess you're not a tuber-hater after all. You are the best after market supplier ever. EVER. Reindog-My M2, which previously had the suffixes R and ST, has now added Enduro thanx to that little jaunt down Pozos Road near Santa Maria. Rooster Tail! Ebear-Reindog please take note: This is how to lead a ride. Long, curvy and PAVED! Jerry and Kathleen-The Love Shack sets the standard for hospitality at Laguna Seca. If I was half as good a guest as you are hosts I guess I'll be invited back next year. George-Should I be worried that when I asked you to take me to a liquor store in a city 250 miles from home you unhesitantly drove me right to the front door? Rhinowerx and Cindy-Thanks for letting me tag along on the way home and keeping up a pace that got me back to... Shelly-Thanks to the best wife ever for letting me take off to play and keeping the house from being devoured by aliens while I was gone. I hope I'll see you all in September for the AMA races. And November for the Track Day and ... |

Went to the GP, awesome. I flew out to California with my brother and met up with some friends to ride for a few days. I rented the cheapest thing I could to make the trip do-able, a Sportster 1200 Custom. Great bike with no available carving clearance! The GP was amazing as those bikes make superbikes look slow. We sat in the RedBull tent on the front stretch, wow!!! After going to the Smokies twice a year for the last 10 plus I have to say that the bay area of California is unreal. |
