Still trying to finalize plans myself - have to get the time off (you'd think the Buell dealer I work for would be eager to have me go!), and have to get the bike back together. Other than that and not having any reservations out there....I'm planning to ride from Maryland either on the 5th or 4th, depends on traffic. Anyone else heading from this area? Also, anyone know of places that still have vacancies? ....it's more fun if you do it totally un-planned,right? |

My wife and I are taking the long way around Lake Michigan. We're going to up to the U.P. and get a look at Lake Superior, then come back down to Racine. We considered the ferry, but it's just a bit too pricey for us. My wife has never seen Niagara Falls, and I've never seen Superior, so we'll add a couple of firsts to our trip. |

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the races. Just look for all us Buell racers. We try and pit together. Sounds like the Courtesy tent will be in the paddock area. Maybe we can set up near by. |

Uly rider seeks Buell rider to split hotel cost.... I have a non-smoking room reserved at the Sleep Inn 945 Greenwald Court Mukwonago, WI 53149 for Thursday, Friday & Saturday The room cost is $300 bucks so $150 gets you in the door. I will be arriving in Milwaukee at 6:15pm via the Lake Express. So it will be early evening before I get to the Hotel. I plan to go to the Boiler Room and see Erik and the Thunderbolts Thursday night so If you plan on doing the same I could just meet you there. Please have you $$$ up front so feel the need to sick Rocketman on you...... NO... Unless its about who is picking up the tab (you will win) NO... No matter how much you/I drink NO... No matter how much you/I snore NO... If you are a Navy Vet, please control yourself NO... Because you don't want to start a war that you will lose. Not that I *TRUST* this much, but it's lookin' like the weather will cooperate with us quite well. http://www.accuweather.com/forecast-15day.asp?part ner=accuweather&traveler=0&zipChg=1&zipcode=53120& metric=0 Maybe we could get Glitch, or some other admin to put up a weather forecast thingy up at the top of the page like they did for the MB thread? Wednesday, July 4th Morning, Brew City Thunderbikes(Hals sponsored Buell riders group) will be having an "unofficial" ride thru the southern Kettle Moraine area, led by DCK996(Dave K. He's not a regular here on Badweb). He has some nice routes thru the area, and is an awesome ride leader. IIRC, we'll meet at Hals at 8:00AM with a full tank, and empty bladder. |
