Will someone who has a firebolt please remove the fairing and take a couple high res images of how the horn, turn signal, etc is situated? I am turning my lightning into a lightningbolt and have all the parts but no diagram about where stuff goes. The parts manual is okay but not for specific stuff. Thanks.![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/bandana.gif) |

are you all doing this purely for looks or do you get some other functionality out of it? seems like a cool idea. |

Steve: That is an awesome job. I love the way you did the headlight bracket. What did you do with the number plates? How will you know what number you are?

Steve_mackay - thanks. Good pics & congrats on a clean project. Nickacaro - for both, form and function. It looks wicked and I prefer riding behind a fairing. Court - What number plates? Isn't the VIN on a decal on the frame? I am going to do this with all the "R" hardware so I won't have to adapt brackets... I hope. |

I think he's referring to the two number plates that normally extend under the seat on the TT. No worries, no adapting brackets - everything should bolt up nicely. |

The horn mounts to the bottom of the fairing mount behind the lights. It's pretty obvious where it goes when you see it.
