i have a brand new set of renthal bars about 1" lower than stock and 4" wider. has anyone done a swap like this and did you like it? just curious before i strip off the stock and give them a feel. |

for me i did a renthal switch about a year ago and it was great untill i moved back into a city . On the open road it was smooth and gave me alot more leverage, but in the city it restricted me ( might have been my perception) so i switched back. great bars though. |

I did it it was fine I cut the bars down to the width that I liked. I also had to grind down the nubs on the inside of the controls (there are plastic nubs that fit into holes on the stock bars) I also used black tape to then make the controls fit snuggly Make sure to center the bars correctly. I think the bars work GREAT!! |
