Hope it's alright to post this here instead of the classifieds since they aren't really "for sale"...Due to a recent dealing with another BadWebber, I have decided to try and "pay it forward"... If you own one of the XB's that went down at MB I have a mint set of passenger pegs/ brackets/ heel guards/ hardware from my 0612R, just pay for shipping and they're yours. |

I have the following to offer off my 05 Scg: rear brackets/pegs/guards cg seat handlebars and upper clamp rt. grip/throttle tube lollipop mirrors upper/lower belt guards stock ecm muffler servo and foam rubber padding inner airbox cover airbox snorkel horn and bracket All parts are in new condition. If you took a highspeed getoff, these parts are free for the asking. If you want something like the ecm and didn't necessarily wreck, offer me a little something and it's yours. I am always glad to help out with whatever I have. I don't have to know you. You don't even have to say thanks. Just do something nice for someone else. All I need is an address. Be safe out there. I'm running out of parts! LOL! |

My Scg seat is now spoken for, so cross that off my list. Can you guys believe there's people out there that will just walk up to a random motorcycle in a parking lot and cut up somebody's seat?!! WTF? I do have one of the MBIV fallen interested in my rear peg setups, but don't yet know if he wants both left and right, or if he wants the brackets/pegs/guards or just part of the assemblies. I'll update my list when I find out what is left from them. The same guy also needs some R handlebars. He didn't say left/right/or both, but if anyone's got some I know at least one of the riders could use them. |

My list once again includes both rear peg assemblies. My guy got some from another badwebber. The seat is still spoken for at the present though I still have not finalized anything yet. |

I am here. We are waiting on the dealer estimate for the damage to the bike. The Uly has full coverage so they should cover it. The only concern was the Insurance said the bags may not be covered. That is the most expensive damage on the bike. If they stick to that we may pull the claim and I will fixed it myself. I would not mind modify/upgrade some stuff on the bike. I have a list of items we initially saw damaged to different degrees. To make it work. - Hand Controls - Brake lever, clutch lever, mirrors, hand grip (I want to upgrade to the traction grips), probably the switch pod on the clutch side. Handle Bars seem fine. - Clutch Cable - Tail Light has a small hole (I guess I could use redneck red tape over it) That will get it road worthy again. Other stuff that really needs replacing - Bezel behind flyscreen is broken - Flyscreen and windshield is badly scratched. - Right side Foot peg bracket - Right side rider foot peg Like to replace - Side Bags are gone. One is cracked and the other has a small hole in it. thank good for bag liners. - Trunk. Has some scratches but not bad. A new latch to hold the bag to the bike is all it needs. A call to Eurotech. - Muffler is dented - License Plate bracket/upper rear fender is cracked. - Seat has two small holes in it. I still have both '06 seats. I am not going to use the '06 Standard seat if anyone needs it. - Left fork guard cracked - Left fork with minor scratches - Left Frame puck with minor scratches - Air Scoop with minor scratches - Oil Cooler Scoop with minor scratches - Air box cover has two small indents
I want to thank everyone for thinking about this crash dummy. |

The same guy also needs some R handlebars. He didn't say left/right/or both, but if anyone's got some I know at least one of the riders could use them. I had both sides until MBIV. gave one to some masshole and the other to some guy that hooked me up with a set of these great quick release dohickies for my seat. I'm not going to state names in order to protect the innocent. |

M2nc Wow Carlos the Uly looks pretty scuffed up. I hope you were uninjured. I was just reading a few posts and came across the "Pay it Forward" section of posts and thought thats just another reason to ride a Buell; then I saw your Uly photos. I hope the Uly is restored to original condition soon. Say hello to Ulywife for me. |

I have 2006 XB12s stock muffler, stock ecm, airfilter, stock seat, and lolly pop mirrors. I would be willing to part with to help some one out that has crashed. |

Hey Ed! Carlos is good. He realized that the bike was going for an adventure he wasn't interested in seeing through, so he kicked away from the bike and stayed on the road. He barrel rolled and had only a scrap on his knuckle from inside a glove. While the list on the Uly looks long, the bike is in amazingly good shape. That bike is a tank! Check out the WV adventure on Storm Fronts. Maybe you guys can get together and ride again if you head to that adventure. Carlos has it on the calendar if all goes well. |

I'd be sorely tempted to at least try and fix that trunk/bag... I have repaired stuff like that before by taking some fairly fine wire, zig zagging it as flat as possible back and forth across the crack (or just laying flat straight pieces across it like stitches) then using some JBWeld (not JBQuick) to cover the whole mess. It's like re-bar for JBWeld. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, and I am often pleasantly surprised. I have a couple repairs holding up perfectly years later that I would have bet money would not have lasted a month. |
