Given the choice, I'd take the girl, five of the best production bikes on the market (with mods), and put the rest of the money away for next year.

thats a cool bike. worth $75000.00??? it is to the person that buys it. and if you have $75000.00 to spend on a bike, then 75000.00 isn't THAT much to you. i very much doubt that the person that spends that much on a motorcycle, would have to worry about financing or making monthly payments. its a cool bike though. |

I think it would pretty cool in my living room as a sculpture/conversation piece. I certainly wouldn't be seen riding it so I'd only take it out after dark. |

Nice bike, absurd price. I spoke to him at a show once - he's an arrogant dick, but then who cares... |

Now, now Jerseyguy! Don't besmirch our limey brethren in such a fashion. |

The seat and rear suspension, twin shocks for all that dough???, look out of place. That's one custom bike that would look so much better with a Buell style under slung shock, freeing up the clutter of the seat and shocks. Then style the seat far better than that hump of a thing. Rocket |

If I was going to overpay for any motorcycle I would buy this Confederate beauty. Awesome lines and just my style.

After thinking about it, for 75K it should at least come with a drink holder. |

The black lightning Russell used to ride is a 03 XB9S. I bought it from him with a thousand miles on it and a lot of custom work. He bought it new from victorville harley. He may be a arrogant D***, but he sure knows how to build bikes |

Yet another reminder of how off his rocker the pricing for this bike is. |

mmmm Porsche, Accept no Substitute. A cup holder in that is as sacraligious as a trailer hitch. |

mmmm Porsche, Accept no Substitute. A cup holder in that is as sacrilegious as a trailer hitch. amen to that! does that Carrera even have a cup holder? i know the Boxster didnt, and that's the 'poor mans Porsche'. (at least my friends doesn't have one) |

I think that it does. Wasn't there a big hubbub about adding the cup holders to the car to accommodate the US market? Germans generally don't "multi-task". Either way, given the choice between the rat bike and a Porsche, I'll take the Porsche thanks! |

That could not be an uglier bike . 120 cubic inch motor , not nearly as reliable as the stock buell mill ! That guy needs to get over himself , why spend so much when you can buy for less at any bike dealer ! |

It's more of an art thing now. Chopper culture used to be about a bunch of hard leg bikers that would "customize" Based on 3 schools of thought 1. I don't really need this let's hack it off. 2. Lets scare the bejeezus out of the squares 3. I don't have the money for a new bike lets make one out of these spare parts. Now it's like art work; only the wealthy can afford it, it's more about looks than function, and if it's not one-of-a-kind or atleast extremely limited production then it's not desirable. |

Choppers today are A$$ Jewelry for people who would rather look at bikes than actually ride. |

I love that area. I took the ferry the week after the big diesel engine overhaul. I stayed at that flea bag motel on the left just after you come over the bridge. |

I kind of like Mitchell's bikes, and the dual shock/ vaguely FXRS-ish frame on that one at least takes a slightly different approach than the rank and file. The "Biker Build Off" episode where the bike was featured showed a bit of detail, but not $75,000 worth. With that cash in hand, I'd take a Uly, and a couple of years off. [hey, wait a minute, didn't the guy that designed the FXRS frame go on to have his name on a brand of motorcycle?] |
