Spiderman, you want to have a good time with that radar gun? Park on an overpass on your bike and point it at yuppies in BMW's & Lexus's. If they crash though, you gotta haul ass. |

the gf and i went on a cruise out of fort lauderdale to jamaica, cayman islands, cozumel mexico, and bahamas. i got some cash, dvd, a flash light that you crank for 30-60 seconds and lights for an hour plus(its actually kind of cool. bright white light) and some gift cards. the coolest thing wasnt even for me it was something for my 7 year old daughter... on christmas day i managed to finally get my hands on the 1985 honda z 50r mini bike that i learned to ride on. its a little banged up, but still pretty good for its age(it still was able to haul my big butt around, lol) it looks like it will fit her great and once i get the throttle to work a little better i will be able to teach my daughter how to ride on the exact motorcycle i learned to ride on. now how cool is that!!! |

Spidey, My son has one of those Hot Wheels radar guns. It appears to work properly although I don't know how accurate it is. |

Santa came to me in the form of a winning Ebay bid where I won a set of S3T large saddlebags for a relatively reasonable price. I am very happy to have won these. |

Late present last night! $100 Visa giftcard to go towards powdercoating my wheels, fork tubes, triple tree and levers black! I can't wait to see how it looks when it's done! I also got a modulator that hard wires in to the second antennea port in my car for my ipod. I'm so tired of all of the static that I get with the Monster transmitter. |

I bought it as a "house gift" and let the kids unwrap it (after my brother, his wife and I spent hours playing it Christmas Eve and then put it back in the boxes)... Guitar Hero II for PS2 and a 2nd guitar for family jams! This has got to be the best family video game ever! Our fingers are sore!

I'm the only rider in my family, so noone got me anything related. The closest thing was my father handing down a pair of dial calipers that belonged to my grandfather while I was out working on my primary sprocket compensator nut Saturday. Otherwise, the nicest thing I got was a HP Photosmart 967 10 megapixel digital camera. Thanks Easterbunny! Oh...I mean thanks Santa! |

Americanmadexb, Yep, that's how it works. Give DaveS a call at Appleton, he's got very good prices! You're right, the bike is suspended by my engine puller and the front stand but I just picked up my revamped forks and rear shock from Ed at TrackSide Engineering in Milwaukee, yesterday, so the 'Bolt will get it's legs back today. |

Rhinowerx, that Roof is bitchin'! What is your initial opinion of the quality and feature/benefits? How does it fit? How about a rider report when you've move a few miles on it? |

I've only worn it a couple of times so far, but here are some initial impressions; Pros; -It feels light -The wind doesn't catch up under the chin (probably cause of the shape) and try to rip the helmet off your head - (my HJC has a bad habit of doing this when riding the Uly at anything over 75mph) -Actually, the helmet fairs very well when turning your head at speed - it doesn't seem to catch the wind at all -The chin piece venting works very well. -The venting on top of the helmet works OK -It fits my noggin well, and I like the way it covers my ears -Visibility is excellent - good clear wide area of view -Clip strap mount -Looks cool Cons; -The opening/closing mechanism is fidgety, and seems a little fragile - I plan on being deliberate when using it, and not forcing anything - you know, kinda like the Uly luggage latches... -The chin piece lightly touches my chin when closed - annoying but bearable -Noisy – IMO no more or less than my previous flip up helmets (Syncrotech, Jarrow II) One thing that is a little odd, but it seems to come with the Darth Vader Deathstar theme secretly built into a chip and hidden somewhere in the helmet - cause every time I put it on I hear it in my head... A few more pictures posted here Cheers -Jack |
