A friend has a set of Eclipse HID's on his V-Strom. I'd never heard of them before. Check it out at www.trailtech.net/eclipse_mr16.htm $300 for a pair. |

I installed a pair and have had nothing but problems. One failed after a few minutes the other would work for 15 min then shut off. Sent back to trail tech to be repaired. Next one gets moisture inside and the reflector starts corroding sent back again for repair. Now one shuts down after 5-10 minutes other seems to be working. When they are both working the light is impressive. |

they look interesting, my concern is that they are a flood pattern and will literally blind on comming drivers unless you shut them down. I know that hid's don't like to be turned on and off a lot so I was wondering how long they would last. Now if they threw a good wide low pattern with no holes, that would be rocking good |

Hermit-I had the same problems you had. My problems were caused by the wire up kit I brougth from wally world. I ended up going to Pep boys and making my own wire/relay kit. Not had a problem since. Hope this helps. |

Is the price for a pair, or each? |

Seems like an interesting product. Where have you guys mounted them? The picture shows them on handlebars, which I would guess to be way too high on a Uly. |

+1 How did you mount these? I was set on a pair of PIAA 510's (like the rugged look and easy bulb replacement) but these look very interesting. Thanks. |
