buy the damn bike... who cares what you look like anyways? I'm sure there are guys bigger than you riding a lightning. And i'm sure it looks like everyone dwarfs the bike... they are only 52' wheelbase |

I've got a customer who is 6'6" riding an XB9S. I'm your size and they look just right for our bodies. |

I am 6'-2", 215#. I owned an XB9S, and I put 13,000 fun filled miles on it in two years. That being said, I feel that the XB12Ss is more suitable for the larger rider for three reasons. 1. The longer wheelbase and greater fork angle offer more stability, whilst still being very sporty and offering great cornering ability. 2. The larger motor with it's greater torque compensates for the rider's greater weight. 3. The rider looks more proportional on it. |

"Fat guy in a little coat." 6' 230 lbs. All sport bikes make me look like a monkey humping a football. That said, I'd rather look like a monkey humping a football on a bike that screams through the twisties! Buy the bike and kick the crap out of anyone who says anything! Who wants to be a buck thirty soaking wet? |

Heck I am 5'6" 225 (yeah a bit on the chubby side). And I am fine on the LIghting. I have given up caring what people think about me a while ago. I enjoy myself and that is all that matters |

O.K. I'm not the size of Livnlo but at 6'2" and 255lbs. I am large for my XB9S Low, but we still have fun. My wife says that I need to be riding a cruiser but until she buys one for me I'll be happy with my Buell.

Cruisers are for girls. I don't need a bigger bike, I'm not compensating for anything.

At 6'3" and 185lb I highly recommend the Lightning with either the Corbin Gunfighter or Buell Select seat. Either seat gives room for longer legs to tuck into the frame. The same is not possible on the lightning Long, I found. My Ulysses however eats up more miles than my Lightning ever could. NUTS |

I'm confused, is this thread for personal ads? "6'3'' and 320lbs and i ride the s*@t out of my xb12r" (Message edited by cereal on September 25, 2006) |

"i got a job at a HD dealer here in NY. im laughing daily. all these guys on big touring bikes that can barely touch the ground. " As opposed to all us short guys that can barely touch the ground on our Buells? I can just get flat footed on my Road King also due to the width of the frame. What are we short f**kers supposed to do - ride scooters? [insert rude sound here] |
