Twas the night before Border Raid and all through the crib, were thoughts of fun Jimmy, Johnboy and Bib. Those that don't come will surely be missed, I speak for the rest but I'm really pissed. We'll ride for four days in the country above, with friends that we've met then grown to love. Bob |

All I can say is... You folks that decided you couldn't make the Border Raid this year are really missing out. Great roads, great people and fantastic lies. We are having a blast, and there are at least 2 women here that just plain kick ass on motorcycles. Fun times, wish you were here. Ron Ulysses in Seattle (well, in Penticton tonight) |

Yes, Theresa and Debbie kick ass on two wheels. How is Galen and the "high speed wobble" doing? My all time favorite Galen quote to date! It is so strange to not be up there with you all. Hope all is well and you are safe and having SO MUCH FUN! Post up how it went so we will know just what we missed out on. ps.... hard to believe I have not thrown a leg over once all year - random thought I know but it just came to me. Cheers - Kimberlie |

Well now... did you get to view the "speed wobble" spectacle? I personally still have not witnessed the phenomena yet. All is very well here... no incidents to report and tomorrow should be much more sedated on the return trip. More to come. Ron Ulysses (still in Penticton) |

It was great to spend at least 1 day and night with the group. It was so great to see Galen, Bob and Deb, Chuck and Theresa, and meet our newest member Ron aboard a Ulysses not to mention the usual suspects from the Great White North. Bunch of hosers. Got back home safe and sound. The traffic was light because of the posted recommendation on the highway readerboard that people take an alternate route to the Hope - Princeton to avoid the smoke. The smoke really wasn't that bad. We did the Green Mountain Road, the Old Headley Road and we railed the sweepers on the way to Manning Park. Great ride except for the driving award I received from the man in the car with the red and blue lights on the way to Penticton to catch up with the group. It wasn't nearly enough time with the people I miss the rest of the year so we have to plan a get together and to attend the Seattle MC Show. Thanks again to Stu for coming up big with a replacement rotor. Stu, you can't not be at these rides anymore. Take Care, Harv |

Ron, Easily Corrupted! and good at it!(and likes it) Dr Dan, Smooth and Fast. Hell every one was fast. Both guy's are great and fit in with the group great. Man did wehave good weather or what? We sure did have a small group this year with only 11 bikes. Easy to manage and fast as Hell!! I'll post some pics later along with stories. Bob |

Hi all. Had yet another fantastic weekend tearing up roads and generally acting like an A$$. Bummed that the fun stuff is finished for another season, and already looking forward to the next big meet. I thought all the out of country visitors where going to ride Green Mountain Road with us and then cross the border at the Night Hawk crossing. What happened? Green Mountain Road was just a gas! Galen. How are the tires? Did they last long enough to get you home? Bob. I need your telephone number for Sonoma Feast. funjimmy@hotmail.com Se you all at the Seattle Bike Show. Cheers FunJimmy |

I want to say thanks to all of you who showed up for the Border Raid this year! You all made me feel very welcomed and like I was part of this fantastic group of gals and guys. I'm feeling the love. Bob, damn, did I really look that intimidated by you maniacs? Thanks for showing me such a fun time... and waiting on me as I fell back in the dust. Deb... what can I say? You are just plain HOT! Thanks for pacing me through the curves. Theresa... You are one cool chick! Chuck... I'd be your wingman any time (except I can't catch up to your damn wing!) Galen... Thanks for the encouragement. Jim... Good god man... slow that thing down! I had a blast. John... Hope the party wasn't too bad on you. Fun riding with you. Harv... It was great to meet you, maybe I can ride as good as you someday. Eric... Cool spending time with you. I owe you some music and tell Jaci hi for me. Dr. Dan... At least there was one cool head when it came to passing. Hope I didn't miss anyone. Old man syndrom, Bob, you understand. Thanks again for such a fun time and loads of speed! Be safe! Man I wish I could have made it. Camping sucked, and the dirt riding was too dusty. Looks like I'll be back more in touch with Buell at the new stealership. I really missed the ride and all of you great people, I'll be back next year. Cheers, Stuart |

Well it took me this long to find a web outlet! God I had a great time with you my brothers and sisters! I love you suckers. Especialy all of you! The roads were pristene and delectable. yum. Ron gets the new guy of the year award for his 'And I'm Bobs' best friend' hug. It was perfect. As was my time with my Canadian compadrays. I have started school and gosh am I smart. I really impress myself. Bib lets hoist one at the M/C show. Hanging on till then by riding Betty to class every day. And yes the tire made it , and is still at this very second holding air for my ride home. sooner, Galen |
