I know it has been talked here many times. I was told yesterday that Buell will announce a new touring model at the dealer show in July. Has anyone heard the same? |

Wait 2 months and you'll know for sure. Until then rumors remain just what they are: rumors. |

A number of dealers saw a tall buell under a blanket at some sort of dealer thingy at the factory a few months ago. Don't tell anyone else. |

if it was under a blanket how could they see it to know it was a buell. but as long as we're wishing. i'll take fully faired firebolt with more competative horse power numbers. ps. and give me a fricken gas guage! |

ps. and give me a fricken gas guage! I second the motion, even if it's just a set of 5 or so LED's to indicate: full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, ....and "dude, find a station, quick"

Maybe Eric has a taller brother that looked like him and was wearing a blanket? That would be one way to know what it was. |

If we're turning this thread into wished for features, how about a good cruise control and a 200 mile range on the gas tank. Somplace to store registration and insurance paperwork on the bike would be good too. How about a decint tool kit and flat repair kit. Oops thats my current BMW, never mind. |

DaveS, If I told you I would have to shoot ya. Guessing about March, at technical center, may not even have been a Buell. Smaller than my R1150GS about KTM height?? When you've been around dirt trackin as long as I have you get to know lots of Harley dealers, the guys that saw it were mainly the sort that kidded me about not giving up on my 95 S2 for LSR as the new one looked slow I don't think either of em still sell Buells. |

Dave: Sounds you were not invited to the west coast writers test ride when they were in town a couple three weeks ago to ride the new Buells. Just a rumor. Kuhneutson valve) Boy thats a term I have not heard of for 40 years. |

Either way, I'll be ticked off. Either because it's something I wouldn't want to buy, or because it's something I want REALLY bad but I can't buy another bike right now! |

All I want is a new M2. I was pretty happy with my old one and then Buell deserted me. I suppose there would be 100 ways the M2 could be improved but over all, I just want a brand new M2. |

Dale, You can buy new Kuhneutson valves, muffler bearings, and other essential parts here: http://www.kalecoauto.com/ You can also get synthetic blinker fluid for JD's self-refilling turn signals.
