Hello Guys. I work on my Buell XB wiring harness and have some questions about light signals functionality on dashboard when ignition switch in "Park" position. I installed Motoscope Motogadget instrument cluster with Motosigh and eliminated key switch replacing it with M-Lock unit long time ago so currently my motorcycle does not have "Park" key switch position, only On and Off. Now I'm going to implement "Park" position but I do not remember how signals performed in that position before I did this mod. I'm sure Turn Signal Light on dashboard works in Park position. Now my questions: 1) Does Check Engine Light work in Park position when error exists? 2) Does Oil Pressure Light work in Park position? 3) Does Low Fuel light work in Park position when fuel is low? 4) Does Neutral light work in Park when the motorcycle gear is in neutral position? 5) What is Park mode for? Just for energy savings but to be able to turn On signals and headlight? 6) I connected Motosign LEDs thru automotive 12V relays so if I will do dashboard signals work in Park mode the relays will suck some energy from battery. Do the relays suck more energy than original Buell XB instrument cluster? Do the relays suck enough energy to care about it and maybe to disable them and dashboard signals in Park mode? OK, it looks like those signals should not work in Park mode because of in park mode the key switch sends 12V only on lights and nowhere else according wiring diagram. If those signals would work in Park mode they would work in Off position with removed key. So I should keep those light signals relays connected thru ON position wire from Key Switch.
