Cheers Rocket, Thats the right attitude! I recall something somebody said to me once "..even the guy in last place is having more fun than the guys watching the race.."

That can't be comfortable. It brings a whole new meaning to the term "tank slapper" |

That brings up a question though- how much does rider weight affect motorcycle performance as opposed to motorcycle weight? I weigh about 150- so with a 450 lb bike my total weight is 600 lbs. Now say my buddy is 180 lbs, but he tricked his bike out spending a gillion dollars and now his bike is 420 lbs, giving him the same total weight as me. Would he have gotten the same benefit from going on a diet? (Lets assume this is "sprung weight), above the suspension. |

A basic formula used in drag racing cars is 10lbs = .10 second on the track. I am sure motorcycles would be close to the same. |

How sad that you can't just applaud a person for what he does without criticizing him because you don't think he fits the part or looks as he should !! Especially since I'm sure it must be more difficult for him to do so !! I say good for him for trying to enjoy life !! CJ |

A lot of you must have been teased as kids. He's fat... very fat. The tank slapper comment makes me smile. I do not make fun of retards... but, if you bring it on yourself, you gotta be ready to take it. Fat is not accepted because it's not healthy. May be he has a gland problem... saliva gland. Ride... yes. Be fat... NO. Sorry fat folks.

Hey.. I resemble that remark.. damn, I even look fat in my leathers.. but, I have to admit, that I'm not that heavy.. But hey.. Like it says in the better book.. "Yeah, and verrily.. if thoust ridest on two wheels, thou art a friend of mine! (until such time as you do something to prove otherwise)" See, don't say nothin' 'bout size restrictions.. So it's cool especially if he's happy.. (does anyone see a white beard under there? -sorry just had to say it) Later, |

Ah... at last a scientific medical diagnosis that explains this rider's problem from a man in the know... he brought it on himself. "Retards"? |

sure, fat isnt healthy. being stupid or short or ugly or slow arent exactly genetic perfections either, so unless you are perfect,(heres a hint, YOU ARENT) keep your damn mouth shut and enjoy the ride. |

Be fat... NO. Sorry fat folks. So are you saying that all the fat people in the world should just not exist ??? How about if your mother, or sister, or father, or brother, or aunts, or uncles, or cousins, or friends, or co-workers, or spouse, or kids etc. are fat ?? Do we all just not accept them, laugh at them, ridicule them ?? Is there not even ONE fat person in your life that you would feel badly about if people did not accept them and made fun of them !! Fat is not accepted because it's not healthy. Neither is being a diabetic, having high blood pressure, tanning in a tanning bed, smoking, drinking, and any number of things people live with, do we not accept them either ?? so unless you are perfect,(heres a hint, YOU ARENT) keep your damn mouth shut and enjoy the ride. Ditto, Ditto, Ditto !!! Sorry for the rant, but intolerance of others just gets on my last nerve !!!! Teasing isn't always bad, but intolerance, arrogance and non-acceptance of those someone feels aren't as perfect as they feel they should be is so wrong, IN MY OPINION !! So are you saying that all the fat people in the world should just not exist ??? Yes. Short people and all the others who aren't just like me should go too. Do we all just not accept them, laugh at them, ridicule them ?? Yes. Sorry for the rant, but intolerance of others just gets on my last nerve !!!! Tolerate me. Don't get upset about the way I feel. I'm not perfect... right? I'm just another smartass... nothing new or exciting. I do have fat friends that I ridicule regularly just to keep myself feeling good. |

hehe- thanks dyna, the pic is, to coin a phrase, priceless. And we can all just relax. Dyna was having a little fun at the anonymous fella's expense. If he's a member of the board, I'm sure he'll chime in with a rebuttal. OTOH scrap and others are right, hey, he's racing. And he's got the cajones to be out there, regardless of how he looks in leathers, and let's be serious, how many of us look like this in race leathers? So, really, let's have a bit of a sense of humor, and realize that most of us aren't intending anything malicious, none of us is perfect, and even the people you're closest to can give you a reeeaallly hard time - hell you should hear some of the crap I take from my friends about the Aeorstich. |
