Not a big fan of the Saudi royalty myself. They've sold their souls for staying in power. ( not sure if there's much difference with the British Royal Family ) They use much of our money paid for the oil our technology produces on their land, to pay for Wahabist schools to indoctrinate children around the world into their political system. That basically pays for the Royals to stay in power. I'd rather not sell weapons to anyone in the region. But in the grand tradition of "if we don't they will".... if we don't the Russians & Chinese will, and we just want to sell Coca-cola, and the Empires have a different agenda. In the case of Russia and their temporary alliance with the Iranian Mullahs, it's all about power. And today, using fossil fuels to leverage Europe, is a much preferred way to take over, instead of military force. The Chinese already did a deal with Iran to buy all the oil they can ship. So we have multiple countries that would be happy to see Saudi Arabia stop selling oil and going back to the bronze age, most violently. It would be so much easier if we were the Imperialists Alfau is told to think we are. Alas, we're not inclined that way. ( the Rachael Maddoxs might be, but we aren't. ) |

Nothing has changed. America is motivated by their god:- $$$$$$$$ http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/fanta.asp It would be so much easier if we were the Imperialists Alfau is told to think I am not told to think anything. I do however like truth. |

Thank you for that inspiring story of an American company continuing with capitalism in the face of leftist dictatorship. The German born Coca-cola executive is obviously an honorary American. By action and loyalty. America has many gods. The drive to make other's lives better by making new things is not a product of any One. The inspiration for that has many sources. ( The uptight, busybody, workaholic Puritans do get most of the credit, publicly. Good P.R. considering I don't know if there's such a church in the country ) I admit pulling a profit so we can buy cool stuff helps. Doesn't help to build jetpacks if no one can afford them. Americans can be naive, I admit. Who conned us into thinking of Fosters as an exotic foreign luxury beer? |

Probably an American marketing executive. The Australians would never do that to us. |

Fosters is not popular here at all. They have to sell it to some dimwit. Since you were so please by your motivated American allies, here is some more. http://xroads.virginia.edu/~class/coke/coke2.html |

Yeah, I figured the idea was to dump Fosters off the continent. Don't forget Henry Ford who loved the Nazis for their anti union policy. He's quite the character. |

Ah yes, the classic leftist hate for free market economies...you know...the reason western nations thrive. There's plenty of rich third world nations that are still shit holes. Look into that a bit. (Message edited by Rick_A on May 30, 2017) |

I think part of the reason the libtards are shocked is...they can't fathom the idea that there are other belief sets besides their own. How DARE we? |

Headline today...Trump pulls out of Paris climate change agreement. Another redistribution scheme squashed. No, I am not yet tired of winning. |

Great news! Now if the UN and the Eurozone could focus on how the increased CO2 of burning Venezuela cities hurts the world? Or maybe a commitment to stopping the Arab slavery rise. Or the sexist kidnapping of American and European women by the Slave states of Islam. Or maybe real pollution? But.....no. There's no power in actually fixing a problem. |

Latest word is Trump has not yet withdrawn from the Paris crap. There is some confusion... probably deliberate lies by the left to stir up their moronic base. There are also reports that Trump has close advisers who profit from this con game, and they are telling him not to withdraw. I hope I'm wrong, and Trump does, in fact, reject the Paris accords rip off. If not by directly telling them to go to hell, at least by sending the treaty to the Senate to be legally rejected. |

I really hope we pull out of that agreement. It's designed, as previous attempts have been, to redistribute wealth, not control CO2. When they decide CO2 really is the problem, not the wealth of rich nations, I might at least be convinced that they believe their own BS. As it stands, they do not believe that CO2 is causing the death of the Earth. |

I think he'll say that the US should maintain presence in the Paris climate deal, which will draw huge outrage from the leftists who will suddenly claim that they've always been against the climate accord and Trump is a vile demonic racist for wanting to participate in such an organization, and it somehow demonstrates how he hates muslims, women, and Mexicans. |

Unlike old "it's my turn" Hillary blame game Clinton? To give the guy some credit, he's still got the entirety of the Democratic Party against him as well as the leaders of his own. |

And of course, the "rest of the planet" is on the other side because it puts them on the receiving end of wealth redistribution. "Free money? Sign me up for Paris!" |
