I'm still tied up out of town for another 10 days and have a few mods to do before I can ride with confidence. Don't trust my stuttering enough for a long ride. The 27th may be possible but will have to see nearer the time. | ||

Won't know until I see how far I get Fri/Sat with school stuff. Eric still has my Uly, so I'd likely be on the "service and rescue" vehicle again. It's OK, though, I can try and jump up and down a lot to make it shake like a Uly at idle if that will make you guys more comfortable! | ||

Certainly lets get together and find some twisties. Do you mean you rode from California or Louisiana? I am also fairly new to the area (1+ year) and this week I have learned (not the hard way) that wet leaves are not your friend. PM me if you want to get together for a beer while we wait for this place to dry out a bit. | ||

My ride was from Los Angeles. Braved the 106 degree weather. After that ride I decided to switch from Mobil 1 to Redline 20w60. Sorry I missed the ride today was a perfect day for it. | ||

Sorry you couldn't make it Tribe29. It was a beautiful ride. A little farther north where we went the leaves are already changing color and it was gorgeous! Looks like we may do something this coming weekend too. Articktm actually does own a Uly as it turns out and rode it too.  | ||

Cornel- Earlier this week, I directed a new Badwebber/Uly owner in upstate SC to you for help with an ECM issue. I figured someone in this riding group should be fairly close to them and could help or at least direct them to someone who could. | ||

Yeah, big time fun :-) The KTM might have gotten stuck with those skinny tires, while we hydroplaned right over the puddles with the Ulys.... Great bikes!!! Hugh, I never heard from the guy you mentioned..?! | ||

Hmm, not sure if I'm sorry I missed that ride? Who you callin' skinny? The Austrian beast has a 170 rear not too much smaller than the Uly's 180. For the ride you had, maybe I would be better off on my little KTM with DOT knobbies! I think I'll keep the Uly on paved roads mostly now that I have the KTM. It impressed me with getting me out of Hurricane Creek muddy hill when I got in farther than I should have riding solo. Now that Eric fixed my pinging issue (it seems), I switched back to the EBR ECM last night, reset TPS, and also used ECMSPy to enable the Active Muffler Control. We found it was turned off in the EBR unit despite EBR claiming it was enabled (but diagnostics disabled). Ran great on a short test run last night. | ||

Nice ride! Never saw an Uly with Hawaii plates or Alaska plates before.... We could actually drum up 8 Ulys if all would show up at one Sunday morning... Not bad for little Hooterville :-)  | ||

Ha! I wish I had felt good enough about the game up front to have a hangover! Go Spartans! Too much school work going on, but it was fun. Just now seeing this post, so too late for Sunday, though I might sneak out later in afternoon since homework is now done and it's sunny. Thermometer is plenty low, though. |
