Folks 98 S3T, Works forks with gold valve kit. Leaking front fork seal, and I don't recall what weight oil I previously used. User manual specs 5 weight, but the cycle shop tells me they use 10 weight in everything. What do you recommend? Thanks Tim in Fairfax 98 S3T, 40k and still smiling |

I recommend what it says in the owners manual...the cycle shop that says "they use 10 weight in everything" may be great guys, but they may not have quite the level of engineering and testing to back up that policy that the owners manual and therefore Buell Motorcycle Company does for it's recommendation. 5wt is what I use in all trackbikes and streetbikes. It works well. My local sportbike shop stocks a bunch of 5wt and only a few bottles of 10wt. |

All Thanks for the feedback. I found my old notes and yes, I am sticking with 5 weight... Tight Lines Tim |
