A subject flogged to death but still: I understand the newest version of isolators, which don't fit the S2, are made of a sturdier rubber. American Sportbike has S2 isolators. But should I get the newer, sturdier ones and hack off the "safety lip"in order to benefit from the sturdier rubber? (The bike is frequently going long distances with too much weight.) (There's an obvious line there but I'm not touching it.) |

I would think so Eric, but I don't know. I may have to try this myself. |

I have installed the new style isolators successfully on an S2, before I read the part that they don't fit an S2. Gloria has the latest style Isolators. No modification of anything was required for installation. |
