In my opinion, I'd leave the wheels the way they are. But then the color of the wheels - and the rest of the bike - is completely subjective. What matters is your opinion, and nothing else. But IMO? You've got it pretty well nailed, right now. |

Red93, I agree with rocket, that truly is a beautiful S1W. Great job! Although I thought it looked fine with the PM wheels, the XB rims are sweet too. Clean and not overdone, while letting the original bike shine through. Helluvajob. Exactly my thinking too. When I look at what I've done to mine over the years, I've adhered to Erik's original bike and tried to keep it minimal and echo the shape and style without changing too much if anything at all that takes it away from that. Your Red Snapper looks thin and light and fresh and stunning compared to mine, yet they are not so dissimilar. It must be in the colours. Simplicity in itself. Fabulous. Blue wheels - maybe. Just get two sets and you've cracked it! Thanks for the links and additional pics all. Lovely Buells in this thread! Rocket in England |

Thanks for the kind words! I guess I still can't make up my mind on the wheel color. Lol I get lots of thumbs up when I ride it and when I pull into a bike night it draws a crowd. |

Crank Pin went and tank bubbled bad. So the "rebuild" was new crank pin and new paint job. Motor is rebuilt and in the bike. Working on the carbon fiber |
