Can you determine what the build number / signature series number is from just the VIN? Thanks. |

The last four of of my S2T is 0066. Is it as simple as #066? |

Is there a definitive answer of the relevance of a "1B" vs. a "4M" for the 1995 models? - I know years before are "1B" VIN sequence, everything later is 4M, but '95 can be either. Was there a cutover, or were both sequences used concurrently? I have read that "1B" is the first run of 400, "4M" is the second run of 999, but I figure someone on this board was there and can confirm (Message edited by Lynrd on November 23, 2013) (Message edited by Lynrd on November 24, 2013) |

So a 1B... 18 would get a Signature Plate of 18 of 1399 built. While a 4M...39 would not get 39 of 1399 built but rather 439 of 1399 built. I've asked about this here before without an answer. |

I don't know. I do have 18 of 1399, but no motor, just the frame. I also have 595 of 1399. Somebody must have this one somewhere. Would love to have 39 and 820, since these are complete bikes. . REX |

I forget the total number of Cali bikes but I do seem to recall seeing a plate that said "18 of 429" or whatever the number was. The bike number was a different sequence than the 49 state bikes, and the "of" number was not 1399 but whatever the Cali total was. |

I just doublechecked my plate. 4MZ VIN, 1365/1399. 49 state bike. |
