Well, it looks like the Rev C version fix for the weeping clutch doesn't really fix things very well.... *sigh* |

That is because rev C is a made up name and not one of the fixes. To fix it you need Harley part X2086.1AM, or the clutch actuator from EBR or Oberon. |

Go with the EBR part...its cheaper then Harley one and it works, the HD replacement part failed on me. The Oberon is good but really expensive compared to the EBR part. |

EBR part worked for me. Just remember to get the small O-ring that goes on the spherical nut. Mine didn't come with that. |

All 3 options Froggy mentioned are good fixes. I had the H-D version at 18k, now at 28k and still dry. The EBR is an improvement on the H-D part, as is the Oberon. If you're US the EBR is the best bet, EU go with Oberon. The rest of the world, check your 3 options. Z |

The EBR part and Oberon part are quite different. I have both. They both function well, but the designs are distinctly different. The Oberon is all aluminum construction. The EBR part uses a SS cylinder and AL piston. |

The EBR part is a different design than stock. Not only are the materials different, but the O-Ring arrangement is different. I believe that EBR also says something about the hydraulic properties being redesigned for more taper and a smoother feel (probably different cylinder ID). |

Thanks guys. Bike's going in next week for storage at the dealership and they've said they'd order the HD part under the extended warranty. I guess I'll play the extended warranty bingo until it runs out of warranty in 4 yrs. If I still have the bike by then, and I doubt I will, I'll order the EBR part on my dime. For now, I'm going to take HD for every penny I can |
