Has anyone figured out a way to put a tank under the seat? How much clearance at bottom out? Two gallons would be great. I think under the seat would be the cleanest out of the way set up. |

You may be on to something here. If you're willing to remove the undertray thing and replace it with some oddly shaped plastic tank, you may be able to get a gallon and change without altering the profile of the bike. I put my tire plugging stuff in there though. |

I don't know about that idea. It gets really hot under the seat and I wouldn't want a plastic gas tank in there. Just my $.02. |

Most tubers have plastic tanks, right above the engine. They don't have heat issues with the tanks. |

I understand the heat fear. The comfort kit reduces the underseat temps, right? |
