It would be cool to make some plates that are generic? Identifying us as part of the S2 gathering group? or whatever we come up with? Just a thought. S2 collector? Ideas? Maybe even number us? and we can start keeping track of our buells and their vins. I know we have a list started. REX | ||

I see my name popped up in the conversation. As not to take housing away from the S2 guys I am working on a group to stay at the Edelweiss Inn in Eureka Springs. It is pretty close and has food and drink within walking distance. My son just bought an S1000RR that he will be itching to try out on the curves. I'll be on my 'cough, cough' VFR. Not sure who else from my group has committed (or should we all be committed?) at this time. | ||

I think Brad got rooms for us in the lodge (waiting to hear back from him). I still have the ST but bought the VFR when I was saving up to buy an 1125. Ran across a really good deal on a slightly used one and couldn't pass it up. Then just a couple months later they had the fire-sales on the 1125s. | ||

That's right Frank. I have my '99 S3 back together and plan to sell it, then I will have the funds for the trip. Market here is super low for old Buells so I will be lucky to get a couple of grand for it. Thought about just keeping it for a parts bike but I hate to do that to a good runner. I was looking at a route that will be 5-6 thousand miles round trip so I will need plenty of gas money. All I need is a spot on a floor, but a spare bunk would be a plus. | ||
