Whats up guys. One of my neighbor kids just got his bike permit and is looking to buy his first bike. I am not totally sure what his cash position(probably dosen't want to go over $2K) is but if anyone has a bike for sale, let me know and I'll pass it on to him. -Eric |

Im good for that trip... plus, I've got an old buddy that I didn't know works for Redline. PLUS the added benefit of having someone who lives in New Kent taking us on the roads we DON'T know about. Don't get me wrong, having a GPS is cool and all, but you spend so much time looking for the turn that you miss the curves! |

Hey Eric, I come across deals I can't take advantage of all the time. I'll keep an ear out. Problem is... most of the deals are for MONSTER inline fours, something no beginner should be directed to, so I'll be sure to qualify the details. |

Hey Chip, It was good to see the Uly last night. I first saw the flag coming through the parking lot and thought that it was a smart idea to get your scooter seen in that sea of cars. Then when you popped out on Kentucky, I said to myself.. That's no scooter... it's a ULY! (Empire Strikes Back reference) I was trying to get your attention but you were focused on getting out of harms way. The only thing that I knew would work was to pass you. Sorry I had to buzz off, but I needed to be in Denbigh by 8. I nearly never see another Buell in my neighborhood. I think my neighbors must think I made the bike in my garage cause mine is the only one they've seen. |

So that was XB12mel! When you blew by me, I saw the Buell logo on your jacket back. I thought I had to catch up to this dude. Not having met any of the Hampton Roads Hooligans before, I did not know you. Yea, sorry we could not chat. The flags you saw on my Uly were an honor rig as part of a Patriot Guard Riders honor mission we did before Penn. Pilots game at War Memorial Stadium. http://www.peninsulapilots.com/news/index.html?art icle_id=180 At the conclusion of our participation in the pregame on field ceremony, we drove the Pilots out for the start of the national anthem. I gave the left fielder a ride out. I want to get up with you Hooligans some time. Not sure how you guys do comm. for ride meet ups. |

We have been trying to figure that out too lately... how and when to get together. We usually post up in the weekend rides section, but you can probably tell by the date of the last entry that we haven't been out in a while. There is a ride going on on the 10th sponsored and lead by the good folks at Redline Cycles in York County. Some of us are trying to tag along and go Duc hunting. But even that is starting to look less and less like a reality. (I just found out that I won't have my kitchen pass for Sunday) But yeah, we do like to get out. Nothing too serious. Our motto is just hang loose and have fun. We've gone the judgmental route in the past and all it did was break up a good group. So, now we just ride "our" ride, live and let live. There's a few of us out there... just look for the "Thunder Cat" patch when you pass a Buell and you'll know! Till next time, keep the rubber side down! |

Man, I haven't been to Poe's in a while!!! Well not for Bikes in the Bottom anyway. If the Redline ride starts at 7:30 like I think it will... one could show up @ Poe's for a ride back down 5 to Williamsburg. First I need to secure my kitchen pass before I can go anywhere Sunday morning!!! |

Ok, So... a couple of you guys know the guys from "Shut 'em Down Riderz" They came to our cookout at the beach and I've seen them off and on at different bike nights and cookouts. Well, we have been officially invited to come and hang out with them this Saturday @ the 1/4 mile track in Dinwoodie, VA. The event is open to the public and it's pretty much "Run whatcha brung" The same entry fee you pay to get in the gates also gets you on the track if you've got the proper gear. These guys do this event every year and will have a site set up with grills and coolers. I had the opportunity to go a few years ago, went by myself and didn't know that I could race on the track. If I knew then what I know now, I would have. I think I even sent video's but that's another story. Anyway, I haven't decided if I'm going to go yet or not. BUT I'm leaning heavily towards it. Might pack up the wife, ride up to the strip, get my slip eat a burger or two and then ride home. Anyone else interested? |

Hey Guys, Won't make it in the morning, Detonated my Drummer today. Went up to Dinwiddie, got out on the strip twice... First time I scratched, It's a pretty poor video: second time I did ok. (Still lost though) 1/8 mile in just over 8 seconds at 87 MPH I tell you what, It was Quick!!! First, Second, Third and the race is over! both times I got beat by a Gixxer 1000 with an extended swing arm. Oh well, no beginners luck for me. |
