Erik will be fine. He needs neither the permission nor validation of Harley-Davidson. They held him down for years. No more. |

Great bike. Once again I feel proud to be part of Erik Buell's moto-family. |

I think this page sums up what most prospective 1125 buyers over this side of the pond feel. http://www.twowheelsblog.com/post/4008/erik-buell- racing-1190rr-pics Such a shame that the original 1125 didn't look like this when it was released. Hindsight is of course 20/20 and it is always easy to look back and think how things should have been done, but if the launch had been delayed even a few months to allow this to be the street bike styling I think that the Buell may still be in the road bike business and would certainly have sold a lot more 1125's along the way. I sincerely hope that a way can be found to make this into a production street bike reality. |

Matt - unfortunately the design was ham-strung from the beginning by styling decisions being made by Hardley. Would that HD have allowed Erik to DESIGN the bikes as best he could, we might have been witnessing the 2011 Barracuda. At least now, Erik Buell has chewed through the ropes that were binding him and we can only hope that when his time is up, we'll see him PROPERLY unleashed. |

>>>I sincerely hope that a way can be found to make this into a production street bike reality. I doubt you could stop it given the demand. |
