In January I bought a salvaged 2008 1125R. I ran the VIN and all recalls had been done and damage was cosmetic. Here is what it looked like when I picked it up...
- Noid was already removed - Cosmetics were all fixed and broken stock parts where replaced. - Added Nissin RMC - Flush Mount signals - Bar end mirrors - D&D Slip on - DEI black header wrap and header wrap paint - Front and rear sliders from (Blackflash) - Rear seat pod from (Blackflash) - Kick Ash windscreen - Buell stock touch up paint for frame and swingarm - Satin black krylon and matte clear coats - Black Buell airbox badges - City Cross X - Frame decals from (mattreich4@aol.com)
I still need to do fender relocate and have a few other things in mind. But it is pretty close to done now. (Message edited by mooch on March 13, 2010) |

What brand of flush mount signals did you use? And where did you get them? |

Looks very good. I think the matte black goes well with the Diamond Blue. I went the other way and clear-coated my frame and swingarm to match the shiny black plastics. If your ears start bleeding from that D&D, the Drummer is a nice pipe that's a bit more civil. Z |

That matte black looks absolutely sick on this bike. You're making me want to strip my plastics off and get them painted! |

Tom_c- No problem, I PM'd you with my email address. Jelomadnes- The signals are from Hotbodies. I can not remember the parts number, but they took some altering to fit. I had to drill a hole in the fairing support. I got them at Cycle Gear Thanks everyone, I am stoked with it!! (Message edited by mooch on March 14, 2010) |
