I got my fender elim kit from Jardine, looks goood, but the plate mount has 3 holes in it drilled kinda in a triangle fashion, they don't match up even close with the plate holes, how I should be mounting the plate to it? Is there another part I should get, or should I just be rigging something? Thnx. |

Unless they've updated their design, the FE from Jardine for the 1125s has only one mounting fastener (Torx) at the "tip" of the triangle. The other two holes are for you to transfer the grommets over from your stock fender and fish your turn signal wires through. Actually it would help if I looked at the right one, nevermind. I have two, I got one for each bike & somehow managed to pick the wrong one up when sitting down at the 1125, it ocurred to me when seeing that pic you posted. Dang it, I stoopid. Thanks for the pic! |

I was looking at the Jardine one how does it fit with the flat plate? I ask because the stock mount has the recessed angled mounting points |

It works perfectly for that one mounting point. The screw slides right in no problem. With the flat angle of the plate though, if it required the other two mounting points it would not work at all. Its really sturdy too with the one mounting point surprisingly. |

I was skeptical of the one-bolt design and flat shape, but it is sturdy as hell and looks great when installed ... Even though I had my doubts before putting it on. Mike |

There will be a gap where crud can get in so if you are anal about that sort of thing I suggest using some masking tape and black sealant to bed the FE to the tail. |

Use the imagelink command, [IMG] does not work during edits. |
