I ended up with a FI tank and put it on my carbed M2. I was able to use the petcock from the M2 and put it in the "upper hole' because it was too tall to go in the "lower" hole. I stopped over at a nearby autoparts store and got a rubber washer that the gas will not eat through and a bolt and washer to plug the lower hole. It's hasn't leaked in 4 years but every winter I pull it off and replace the washer. Hope this helps and is cheaper than buying another tank. |
