Hell I am surprised this hasn't been locked. Blackflash has been standing right on the border of what I would constitute as advertising his product, then all the bickering by several people in here on top of that. Hell if it was my call, I would of canned this thread and let it fall into the archives.
Blackflash, I do recommend the new thread, but remember that you are not a sponsor (that I am aware of), so be careful with your wording.
The first post in this thread was good, some pictures,and saying it can be found on ebay. Only thing is, if you do the same it could be interpreted as advertising your product.
But I am not an admin so its not like I got any real say anyway. |

Seriously I am confused?
I am not being sarcastic at all!
I have been searching for a product with the simplicity and function that these exhaust tips offer since I have owned my 1125R, and nobody offered them!
When someone finally does, everyone has it figured out?
I just don't get it I guess?
Anyway, I like mine, these are exactly what I was looking for and/or needed for my bike!

These tips are just what I've been looking for after reading previous threads where people had made their own. So I was glad to see that someone took the leap and went into production. I should have mine early next week.

Never mind, looks like somebody already covered the Summit Racing connection and cost. Looks like 1-3/4"OD x .049" wall 18GA stainless (2" raduis) is the stuff needed. I'm going to make my own as I like to fabricate this kinda stuff.....going to hold them on with high temp silicone, though. Obviously, if you don't like to make this sort of thing, buying a set is not a bad option........
